Scentsy Story
When I first joined Scentsy in 2015, while working my full-time job of 16 years, I only wanted to support my own addiction to all the amazing fragrances, especially Skinny Dippin which by the way is still my favorite fragrance! In a short time, I gained a few returning customers, and then a few more, and even a few more after that. I quickly discovered how others admired our products and I appreciated they enjoyed them as much as me! In 2016 we moved to Maryland, where I also worked full time. It was not my normal 9 to 5, Monday through Friday job I had been used to. However, this is where I met my very first out of state customer, who quickly became my very 1st team member! I acquired a few customers during the short time we lived there, who were also pleased with our products! I decided this could be a new Side Hustle. I could support my own addiction and make a little extra money. The NEW friendships being created was filling my cup! (Keep in mind I lived in a very small town of about 500 for 47 years, where everyone knew each other. So, moving away was a big deal for me) We then moved to Delaware in 2017. I quickly secured a new full-time job, while not loving it, I was continually meeting new people and sharing our products when it fit in for me. I was working this Side Hustle, every nook and cranny. Then BOOM, in 2020 a lot of things shifted, super-fast, so fast it is almost a blur. My network expanded greatly, and my team was growing quickly, I quit my full-time job, my mother needed me in Ohio due to some major health issues...... AND... the next corner I turned... we are moving to Kentucky, which took place in August of 2021...in that order..... WHEW! I will be celebrating my 7-year Scentiversary in September! I am thankful to have an incredible life partner who believes in me, my goals, and inspires me in ways to make my dreams come true. Since joining I have grown a team of 41 amazing women, earned the Annual Sales Excellence Award for 2 years in a row, and I earned my first incentive trip last year of an Alaskan Cruise. I have made forever friendships and gained some pretty special Scentsy Sisters along the way! My driving force is 2022 is to provide the necessary tools, support, motivate, and lead by example for all of team, We Make You Melt, to be the best version of ourselves, while accomplishing goals. Growing as individuals and together as a team, recognizing how much Scentsy has to offer, having the ability to create something so incredible where we CAN have MORE CHOICES in life, and KNOWING we CAN all achieve it together, FILLS MY CUP! The Scentsy Community continues to be a positive influence in my life, and I am forever grateful for it, and all that it stands for!
